User Agreement

This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") regulates your use of our service, including all related features, applications, and services. By using our messenger, you automatically accept the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any of its provisions, please stop using the service.

 

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

Using the Shopot messenger means that you fully agree to this Agreement, as well as to our Privacy Policy . We reserve the right to make changes to this Agreement. All changes will take effect after they are published on our website or in the app. Your continued use of the Service after the changes are made is considered acceptance of the updated terms.

 

2. Terms of Use

You can only use our messenger for personal and legitimate purposes. You agree to:

 

  • Do not violate the rights of other users or third parties.

  • Do not use the service to distribute illegal, malicious, offensive, slanderous, or other content that may be considered illegal.

  • Do not create security threats, including hacking attempts, distribution of malicious software, or other actions aimed at disrupting the service.

  • Do not share your credentials with third parties.

Any use of the service that violates the above rules may result in the immediate suspension of your account without prior notice.

 

3. Registration and account

You may need to register to use some of the messenger's features. When registering, you agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of your credentials.

  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

 

4. Content Rights

4.1. Your content

You retain all rights to the content that you create and send via our messenger (for example, text messages, images, videos). However, by providing the content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to use it exclusively for the operation of the service (for example, to deliver messages to the addressee).

 

4.2. Content of other users

You understand and agree that you may encounter content from other users that may be inappropriate, offensive, or contrary to your views. We are not responsible for such content and cannot guarantee that it will be removed if it does not violate our policies.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

We are proud that the Whisper messenger is designed using advanced data protection and encryption technologies to ensure maximum security of your correspondence. However, it is important to understand that even the most advanced systems cannot be fully insured against unforeseen situations or actions of third parties.

We take all possible measures to ensure the smooth operation of the service, but we cannot guarantee:

  • Absolute protection from external threats, such as intruders, hacker attacks, or other illegal activities.

  • Data security in case of force majeure, including but not limited to:: natural disasters, equipment failures, internet service provider errors, or other events beyond our control.

  • No temporary service failures caused by technical updates or maintenance.

We strongly recommend that you follow basic cybersecurity guidelines, such as using complex passwords, two-factor authentication, and regularly updating your device's software. Remember that protecting your data is a shared responsibility.

 

In the event of a data security incident, we will take all necessary measures to minimize the consequences and notify you of the incident, if required by law.

 

6. Prohibited actions

You may not:

  • Use the messenger for illegal activities.

  • Distribute spam, phishing links, or other malicious content.

  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users ' systems or data.

  • Use the service to organize or participate in fraud, terrorism, or other illegal activities.

Violation of these rules may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of your account, as well as the transfer of information to law enforcement agencies.

 

7. Discontinuation of use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the messenger at any time if you violate the terms of this Agreement or if we decide to stop providing the service. You can also delete your account yourself at any time.

 

8. Legal information

8.1. Applicable law

This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation , unless otherwise provided by applicable law.

 

8.2. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes that arise in connection with the use of the messenger must be settled through negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it is referred to the court at the company's location.
